Water is up quite a bit yet but all the shacks are out about a mile or so out and a bit to the south

Lots of fish you just got to go through a lot of bait some days to get some good ones to take home. We tried maggots the last time we were out and did better with them than with minnows

It was OK yesterday at St. Ambroise beach. We took our sleds in and fished in about 13 feet of water and caught a lot. We didn't get anything over 11 inches and we did get two smaller walleye. An OK day
